SARAH
PRINCIPAL
As the owner of Plan-it Consulting Services, Sarah brings 27 years of industry experience, including site selection, contract negotiations, and project management for meetings from 50 – 1,000 participants. Additionally, she has been responsible for the planning of and logistics for sponsor clients for the past 8 Olympic Games. Sarah originally fell in love with traveling at a young age and has honed her passion into creating the best experiences for her clients. Sarah holds a BA in Economics and Spanish from St. Olaf College in Minnesota. Sarah’s attention to detail and exceptional professionalism has cultivated a loyal and long-lasting relationship with her clients, many of whom have worked with her for years.
LIBBY
VICE PRESIDENT, MEETINGS & EVENT MANAGEMENT
Libby has over 29 years in global event planning and management, including 7 years in-house with Carlson Marketing Group and 3 years in management for La Costa Hotel and Spa. She has consulted many Fortune 500 companies in meeting planning, meeting content, and on-site needs. Libby's depth of contract negotiations, extensive destination experience, logistical and on-site execution gives her the unique advantage of understanding clients' needs from all angles. An avid traveler and sailor, and a lifelong learner with a passion for people and cultures, Libby holds a BA in Global Studies and Organizational Development, and a MA Certificate in Education. Libby is thrilled to be bringing her extensive hospitality background, including Olympic hospitality dating to the 1992 Barcelona Games and exceptional customer service skills to meet the needs of Plan-it Consulting's clients.
KRISTEN
SOCIAL MEDIA & MARKETING MANAGER
Kristen is the newest member of the Plan-it team. In addition to event planning, she is an editor and freelance writer who is organized, has great attention for detail, and contagious enthusiasm. Her personal attention to each client and her ability to maintain an online connection with customers provides the best experience for the Plan-it Consulting clients. Kristen has a BA from Providence College and MA from New York University. Kristen has a love for working with people and is excited to help make the experience for each client one that they will delight in.
